I got first turned on to ALS watches by — of all people — Roger Sadowsky. He said he’d make me a trade for a few of his basses in exchange for a watch… which obviously wasn’t going to happen, but I think it would’ve made Singapore-US relations a bit warmer in the bass playing community if it did :) Of course, at a USD15000 retail starting price it’s a bit hard to justify buying them just to say “I wanted a Sadowsky.”
