One of my external hard drives, with all my music, Ableton sample files and a smattering of work-related stuff here and there just failed on me. The weekend (and the start of the week) seems to be shaping up to be a pretty rough one. iTunes spazzed out on me, my screen went nuts and the drive started making a click-whirrr sound over and over again.
This is the hard drive, and that’s the support number so they know it’s mine when they come by to pick it up tomorrow or Tuesday. I’m never buying Western Digital again.
I need to find a way to backup my files. Another computer on the network, or maybe I’ll make an offsite copy on the Okaythankyou server — we’ve got about 8 gigs of space free. I’m seeing some really good deals on eBay…
