Verbatim

Makeup artist on Sunday morning: “Are you taking the photos in your glasses or without them? You have very nice eyes.” I don’t wear my contacts because I think my eyebags are horrible, but whatever floats your boat…

We just completed a shoot for Youth.SG with Joakim Gomez the other day. I have no idea where we’re going to end up — apparently TVMobile, among other things — but they need to fix the Flash banner; it lags on my (very old) laptop. We talked to Lai Chow and Steven when I later realised that my dad knows Teo Ser Luck, Parlimentary Secretary for MCYS… which Youth.SG happens to be under. And I was supposed to go sailing with them Saturday.

Small world!

I’m headed to New York in 18 hours for CMJ with Sameer — should be really interesting, especially the panels. Saves The Day is going to perform, and I’m unbelievably stoked.

I’ll see if I can drop by the Sadowsky shop, along with all of 48th St and whatever else they have there. It’s been over 2 years since I last went to Manhattan, but damn if I won’t be hitting Shake Shack first thing when I get there. Also, I need a point-and-shoot digital camera! Does anyone have recommendations? I’m thinking Canon IXUS 870 — it has to do the wide angle thing.
