Well, no new Mac Mini at Macworld, but Palm did deliver with the Pre, a new touchscreen smartphone that seems to have a lot of awesome going for it. It integrates (or is supposed to integrate) your digital life, consolidating contacts from Facebook and Outlook for emails and letting you switch from IM (from MSN? Gchat?) to SMS when a user goes offline. Nifty.
No word on Mac integration, and the thing looks like an oversized compact case (or smooth black stone, or something along those lines) but since I have no idea what it actually looks like in real life I’m going to shut up about that bit. Still, I want. The US release is in the first half of 2009; no news on other markets yet. Mm.
