Mute Math are one of my favourite bands — they’re actually on my list of bands I must see before I die, so that counts for something. Roy-Mitchell Cardenas, bassist of the band (and who happens to be really good at it) actually has a blog with a lot of stuff from behind the scenes. You might want to check that out. In other news, I learned more about drawing in 4 hours with Milica than I did in one semester at school. Probably the curriculum, but still — Drawing Fundamentals was essentially a “here’s your subject; now draw it” kind of class for me. I hope they’ve changed it by now; 3 years should be enough to realise something was missing… then again, they’re phasing out film photography, so anything’s possible. With any luck, I’ll be able to finish the basics by the end of the month and start working for some (badly needed) cash.
