Holy shit, how did I miss this? The Roots performed on Nick Jr. for Yo Gabba Gabba! last year. I laughed for five minutes straight when watching this video — they took it down from YouTube but I managed to find one on Lifelounge. The Ting Tings went on too (on a different episode), but their performance wasn’t anywhere near as awesome as The Roots. Natch. Either way, that shit was hilarious. I love how ?uestlove looks like he’s having a shitload of fun:

Her voice is so much more powerful when she sings live.

I caught 5 seconds of the trailer when waiting around at Cineleisure, but there’s no mistaking Explosions in The Sky. I’d watch it just to listen to them in a movie theatre, but it really does look like a good movie.
